Comatose Nation

The purpose is not to write the death certificate of my nation but to elucidate the fact about my nation. Many times, the question arises in my mind about why my nation is backward from the rest of the other nations in the world. Where we all are produced superhumans. After thinking and spectating, I came to realize that ‘Laziness’ is the only factor that is dragging my nation toward disaster, and my nation is supposed to be one of the worst nations in the world.

Unfortunately, every individual in my nation is lethargic. He never pains to work hard and wants to live in his comfort zone. However, living in the ease zone is not a visa for progress. As It is also a remarkable saying of Dr. T. P. Chiani, “ People who are in the habit of enjoying the comfort of inaction often pay a high price in the end.”

Inactivity makes the nation slave, as the Pakistani nation has become a slave to Bretton Woods Institutions such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank (WB). As It always knocks at the door of IMF and WB for the bailout so that it may drive its county and bolster its economy. However, It never bothers to construct another way to raise its economy.

Idleness has penetrated every cell of the nation, and now, it has become die-hard to come out of this malignant disorder.

Owing to laziness, every institution has become frozen and hazardous in Pakistan. Whether it is the institution of politics, judiciary, health, education, or establishment.

The Pakistani nation is an expert just in one thing, which is compliance. It always finds faults in other nations; however, this dull polity never heeded its concentration on more important things such as its foreign policy, food security, good economy, better health, and modern education.

Today, owing to the carelessness and wasteful attractions of every individual in my nation, the country is on the brink of collapse and going to be a defaulter.

Inflation has broken all the previous records, foreign exchange reserves have become empty, remittances are negligible, and investors are not ready to invest in this politically unstable country. Owing to this, the whole nation is now in depression and facing laborious circumstances.

No doubt, every individual in the nation has put his part in wrecking the country. The politicians ruined the structure of the economy, the partiality of judges deteriorated the entire court system, doctors destructed the entire health system, and teachers also did not remain behind to spoil the education system of the country.

Moreover, the Pakistani government has become as much dull and unfit as it cannot use its resources, the other governments have come and taken benefit of its resources, such as Rekodik and Sandak are the most essential mines of Gold and Silver. But Pakistan cannot use these resources a hundred percent for its purpose because Pakistan has no machines to take out those essential metals from their ores due to their dullness. Therefore, the other nations took massive advantage of Pakistan’s backwardness, keeping the huge amount with them and giving very brief amounts of those resources to Pakistan.

Contrary to this, If we look at other nations, they are growing up day by day. Let the other nations aside; take the example of Bangladesh. Bangladesh is forging day by day, which used to be part of Pakistan before the war of 1971 between India and Pakistan. Bangladesh has a more steady economy, and its currency has more value than the Pakistani currency. Dhaka’s one taka is more powerful than Islamabad’s rupee. Now, one can imagine how Bangladesh got such regular politics and economy and a powerful currency.

The only mystery behind this development is the Bangladeshi government’s hard work and struggle. In Bangladesh, every individual labor with sincerity and with hardworking. Bangladesh contains more women labor than Pakistan, and their women never come to the roads for a grant on the 8th of March. They struggle hard; therefore, they reap their resources and use those resources for the country’s honor and enjoy a happy life.

Hence, if the Pakistani nation also desires to live with peace and full autonomy, It has to come out of its comfort zone and have to work hard day, and night, then it would be achievable to live a happy and prosperous life. Otherwise, the dream of living a profitable life will remain a dream, and it will never turn into reality.
