Pakistan’s economy is currently under severe pressure. When the economy has to suffer this pressure, its inevitable effects have to be borne by everyone in terms of state and social order.CPEC, the biggest economic program in the history of Pakistan, is not progressing at the prescribed pace. If it had been traveling at a fixed speed, then in such a case, the national economy would not have suffered from a great depression, but would have improved a lot. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is visiting China to make this situation a thing of the past.

In this regard, the economic team under the leadership of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in Pakistan was instructed to prepare all proposals in a short time and it is reported that recommendations have been prepared regarding the economic program, which will be the focus of the discussion with the Chinese leadership.

High transport facilities are of primary importance for economic growth. That is why rehabilitation of railways was of prime importance in CPEC and ML-1 project was launched for the purpose of rehabilitating railways.But this project could not go ahead at the planned pace because the Pakistani side did not give it the attention it deserves. It is thought that there will be some concrete progress regarding this project. A strategy will be formulated to reduce the burden of increased cost of ML-1. This project has increased its cost, but it is expected from China that it will find a way anyway, keeping Pakistan’s economic situation in front of it.

Apart from this, Pakistan has to face the energy crisis again and again and due to this crisis, the economic development gets an extraordinary setback. While one solution is the supply of cheap gas and oil, solar energy also exists as a sustainable solution. That’s why it has been kept as the main target in this visit and a plan has been made to generate 10,000 megawatts of electricity through solar energy. The word 10,000 megawatts shows that with the completion of this project, it will be possible to meet the shortage of energy and that too at a cheap price.

The main point during this visit is not only to use solar energy but also to take advantage of other resources available in Pakistan. For this, Thar coal has an extraordinary value and keeping this in mind, Thar Coal Project is included in the agenda. Along with this, Gwadar Coal Project is a big project and transferring this project to Thar coal is the basic need of Pakistan and there will be discussions to fulfill this basic need. Apart from this, there are Kohala Hydro Project, Azad Patan Project, Electricity Meter Project and Hub Gwadar Transmission Line Project which are expected to make a lot of progress.

While there are various MoUs besides this. If we want to understand the importance of these MOs, we will have to look at the map, then the fact will come out in front of us that a lot is being done towards the construction of various important highways for the purpose of connecting the economic activities of Pakistan and the region. These steps will be important and thoughtful.These MOUs include Babusar Tunnel, Karachi-Hyderabad Motorway, Mansehra-Muzaffarabad Road and Sago-Yub Road. The possibility of signing a very important MoU in industrial terms is also being shown. There is a plan to establish an industrial project on the land of Pakistan Steel Mill.

In order to meet Pakistan’s LNG requirements in this critical period, a plan has been made to procure LNG from China to enable readily available and affordable LNG for Pakistan. Due to the arrival of winter, urgent need of LNG will emerge in Pakistan.

It is believed that there will be discussions on the rollover of loans and new investments with our friend China for the purpose of getting Pakistan’s economy back on its feet. While Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his economic team have worked tirelessly to solve the problems faced by the Chinese power companies in Pakistan and it is hoped that they will be able to solve this problem in this visit. will Regarding this visit to China, there is an idea in Pakistan that this visit will prove to be a kick start for the Pakistani economy and will firmly fix the feet of Pakistan’s shaky economy.
