A few days ago, our smartphone broke down, and it was so badly damaged that it didn’t turn on and when we took it to the store for repair, the shopkeeper said that the mobile was dead and would not work anymore. We wondered what would happen next because there was no money to get a new one. There were still 2 weeks left until the salary arrived. We were deprived of smartphones and the world of social media. For some time, I was worried that social media would be deserted without me and what will happen to our WhatsApp? But they could do anything.
Now I didn’t understand how to spend my time. So, I picked up the books and studied for a long time to be sure and I remembered the time at the university when I used to bring books with my friends and read. I just looked at the plants, then sorted the plants and brought them in a beautiful shape. The family was skeptical of our mental state but after a long time, we were living openly. After working hard for many hours, we sat with the family and talked in such a way that the conversation went on for a long time. Family people are a fun company. We should sit every day. Then after that, I played cricket with the children of the neighborhood and got lost in my childhood. After a long time, life went away from the smartphone and I enjoyed something that I had been away from for many years.
Today’s people are repentant and the phone is smart. Until some time ago, there was a theory that man is a social animal, but by observing today’s age, we can say that man is a mobile animal. Most of us have contracted the disease of phubbing. It is a disease that does not see the rich and the poor and does not see the borders of the country but has embraced the whole world. This disease has created dissatisfaction among human beings which is weakening the relations. ۔
While this mobile has brought everything in our hands, this mobile has taken away a lot from us which we cannot realize. This world of social media may seem like a big world, but it has alienated people close to us. We have become so addicted to social media that we have lost touch with our families. Even after chatting, the use of mobile continues. Earlier, the conversation was important and this is the identity of personality, but now the conversation is disappearing. Man is moving away from society. First, the talk was with the tongue and now it was with the fingers. In the past, respect was kept in mind in conversations, but now anything can be written in the comments. In the past, people used to smile at good things, but now with one click, emotions are shown through emojis.
In the present age or the so-called modern age, smartphones and social media have further weakened not only our social relations but also our blood relations. I used to look down on literature in front of adults, but now I am leaning on my mobile phone. In the past, if someone came to visit, he would stand up and now hands-free is taken out of his ears. Smartphones have not made man smart, but have forced him to do so, and such a compulsion that if the net does not work, we become restless, if we do not upload a new picture, we become impatient, and if there are fewer likes on the status, we become restless.
Assuming work is required, the smartphone is necessary. But when it is not necessary, something else can be used. Yes, language can be used to talk to oneself, eyes can be used to read a book, hands can be used for household chores, feet can be used to play football. Just use your time in this way, it will be a lot of fun to be sure. The truth is, “the peace of today is to be offline.
