Imran Khan, a former prime minister and the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), stated on Sunday that the audio leak involving Maryam Nawaz and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif shows that they are able to ignore Kashmiris’ fight to import machinery from India illegally in order to make money, according to Aaj News.

In front of a charged audience in Karak, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Imran Khan claimed that Maryam wanted to smuggle equipment into his son-in-law’s factory from India.

“My government cut off all trade ties with India after they abolished Kashmiris’ right to self-determination and violated the UN charter. But, this ‘imported government’ is trying hard to restore ties with India, and are ready to neglect the struggle of Kashmiri people for their gains,” he said.

The PTI chief said that the audio leak proves that their only purpose is to hoard money and nothing else. “60% of the cabinet is facing corruption charges, they have derailed the process of accountability by amending the NAB laws,” he added.

The PTI Chief said that a criminal silence was seen when America carried out 400 drone attacks in our country and killed innocent people.

“The US forces killed our innocent people, but the rulers did not utter a word against them because they feared for their properties and illegal money stashed abroad,” Imran Khan said.

He said that both the PPP and PML-N have granted themselves an NRO and resolved corruption charges totaling Rs. 1,100 billion, but he asserted that the country cannot overcome the situation unless the imported government is in place.

Imran Khan said that he will issue a call to action to his followers in order to help the nation escape the mud.

He said that on May 25, Rana Sanaullah targeted PTI women and children with heavy doses of tear gas because his followers were unprepared. He issued a warning that the minister would not be able to hide this time.

He continued by saying that it is a shame to our people that our Prime Minister travels the globe begging for assistance. No nation can advance by pleading for loans and without growing its production and exports.

“India and even Bangladesh have outperformed Pakistan in economic performance. These two families have destroyed Pakistan in their 30-year rule,” he said.
