Leaders are people who always lead to change and innovate. Leadership is such a subject that has many new trends in this fast-changing world. Digital Media has become a reality of our life. Leaders need to become change-makers in the space of the digital world.
Before we move forward we need to ask ourselves. These are the questions that I often ask the youth of different schools, communities, and universities in my training sessions.
Do you want to become a Leader or a follower in Digital Space?
Do you want to lead the change of lead by change?
Do you want to become a trendsetter or set by trend?
These are very simple questions, but they need to be dug down to make a difference. Many people ask:
They are not celebrities or have a big fan following on social media.
They do have not such a background or influenced lifestyle, so how can they make IMPACT?
I used to think in the same way a few years back but I was lucky to have such good mentors who helped me to overcome my limited belief and narrow mindset.
I realized it’s not the position or size of change you make, it’s how much contribution you have done and the value you added to society.
As an educationist, trainer, and journalist, I have been working for the last 15 years, but I realized that my journey as an Independent Content Creator helps me to reach more people in a very powerful and positive way.
A few years back I started my journey as a YouTuber. I made my YouTube Channel “Master TV Pakistan” to create my platform where I can share Inspirational, Motivational, educational, and life-changing interviews, stories, talks, book reviews, and many more. I am contributing to my society, community, and country through print, electronic and digital media. What I have learned is that we need more real stories, inspirational journeys, real-life events, and positive contributions individuals are making in the development of society.
Just a few years back, I had never thought that I would appear on National Main Stream Media to share my views and ideas to shape the future.
It requires grit and determination to pursue your inward talents to the world.
Pakistan is blessed with the power of youth, but they are unguided in many ways. They need to be guided, mentored, channelized, and influenced by a growth mindset.
Youth need to learn to lead. They don’t need a political, religious, or official position to lead. Social Media has given people a platform to share their ideas, voice, and views to impact.
It’s very important to educate our youth to be trained at school, colleges, and universities to learn the power of digital media. If you want to lead in this era, you have to understand and use social media properly and effectively to connect with people around the globe.
Social Media is a science. There are so many ways you need to learn to use as a leader to grow and add value to people’s lives. You cannot deny social media influence. You can’t even stop your children from using it; you cannot even let people ignore it. You simply cannot do it.
The best way to counter social media narratives is to use them for positive feedback, and if you are not feeding positive material on your timeline, get ready to face and see what others want you to see.
It’s the right time to learn the tools to control your future now. Now means right now, because, in digital media, the span of one year is equal to 10 years of real life.
Enhance your digital intelligence skills, sharpen your tools and learn new techniques to start your digital leadership journey to empower this world and make a difference with your contribution.
