“Hope for the best and prepare for the worst”. Yes, I’m talking about hope. Hope is a blessing that keeps you alive. Hope is something, granted to blessed people. Hope arises only when you have a strong belief in yourself and when you are confident about yourself. When you don’t want yourself let down.
“When there is a will, there is a way”. This idiom is an example of hope. An individual possesses so many plans, some are realistic, some are just a bunch of your imaginations integrated into your dreams but if you have hope you can overcome your doubts and can ultimately reach your destination if God has written well in it for you.
‘Every cloud has a silver lining’. If amidst the tough circumstances whilst engulfed in difficulties from everywhere you still manage to see a ray of hope, well I must say that you are blessed. As nowadays, students and adults succumb easily to ‘depression’ and ‘suicide’ which is not the ultimate solution.
For the time being, by committing suicide one manages to get rid of his problems, but let me ask you a very important question that have you ever thought God will strictly punish you at the Day of Judgement for this conduct? If this fear resides in your heart then I am sure you will never think of the word ‘suicide’.
A great example of hope is how Allama Iqbal dreamt of a separate homeland and it then came into being. If you believe, have hopes then you will achieve the best of best. However, I would like to mention some of the reasons why people lose hope so quickly?
- Poor belief in God and Yourself
- Peer pressure
- Someone mocking you
- Not enough support from family or friends
- Somebody instigating you
Mainly, these are reasons why we succumb easily and get deviated from our paths quickly. Our hopes are abandoned by those fools who mock you every time! The high point here is that when your mind is enough to feel confident, why would another person’s comments or thoughts bother you then?
In that situation, belief in yourself and God, this is the best you can do to pave your journey to the best. Help comes from God and you don’t even have expected and the journey towards your plan gets started. To get desperate is a devil’s task, we should be optimistic. Allah (SWT) says in Quran Himself: “After every difficulty, there is a relief”. Don’t you think that these glorious words from Quran are enough to make you satisfied and relieved? If you are mature enough then you know that other people’s judgments won’t matter to you anymore. Sometimes, even your family doesn’t support you because they come up with a different idea than yours. My friend, you still don’t have to worry!
Why, because it is the best time where you can convince them about your idea if you can do it. This will not only reflect your confidence but also the firm conviction you are having about yourself. In the end, I would just like to say, that doesn’t say nope to a task if you ever had a firm hope.
