This morning journalist Ayaz Amir’s daughter in law was murdered in Islamabad.
According to Islamabad Police, Shahnawaz Amir, son of journalist Ayaz Amir, killed his wife Sara in Chak Shahzad area of Shehzad Town police station. Islamabad Police said through its official Twitter account that
“The case of murder in Chak Shehzad area of Shehzad Town police station. A man named Shah Nawaz killed his wife Sara at home. Senior police officers and forensic teams are on the spot. The incident is under investigation and whatever facts emerge will be shared.”
According to the sources, Ayaz Amir’s son Shah Nawaz allegedly killed his wife Sarah by hitting the dumbbell used in exercise on her head. Both Shah Nawaz and Sara are said to be 37 years old. The incident took place on September 23 at Chak Shahzad Farm House 46 in Islamabad.
The police reached the spot and took the dead body into custody. The dead body of Sara has been shifted to the hospital for post-mortem.
