As a middle-class woman, Cyma Malik shares her personal journey of resilience and empowerment, in the face of gender bias and discrimination. Through her captivating storytelling and insightful reflections, she offers a powerful message of hope and courage for all women and girls. I witnessed her embodying this in real life, but while reading I was struck by the honesty and vulnerability with which she shares her experiences. From the challenges of navigating a male-dominated society to the subtle and not-so-subtle ways in which gender bias manifests in our daily lives, she sheds light on the struggles that women face and the toll they can take on one’s sense of self-worth and confidence.

Yet amidst these challenges, my mother emerges as a shining example of strength and grace. She recounts how she found the inner resilience to push through obstacles, stand up for herself and others, and ultimately thrive in a world that was not always welcoming or fair.

Overall “Guzre Thay Hum Jahan Say” is a compelling and inspiring read that speaks to the heart of the struggles that women face in our society. It is a testament to the resilience and power of the human spirit, and a call to action for all of us to stand up for our rights and for the dignity of all people, regardless of gender or any other identity. I highly recommend this book to anyone seeking inspiration and empowerment in their own lives.

To be honest her book is 10/10 as a reader and as a person, she is my mentor and an ideal.
